Connolly’s Room can be set up in two different way: as a king-sized double or as a twin – please specify when booking. The room is painted in Farrow & Ball’s Inchyra Blue, a moody colour perfectly matched with the mustard curtains, featuring bedside tables & lamps, a chest of drawers and under bed drawers, a large ensuite with shower, toilet and wash basin, towel rail and shelf. It has wooden flooring and overlooks the garden of the Dale. There is also a 32-inch smart TV with free-sat so that you can catch up with news, your favourite show or relax with a movie in the comfort of your own room.
Named after Sir William Connolly, CBE, the Scottish stand-up comedian, musician, presenter, actor and artist. He is sometimes known, especially in his homeland, by the Scots nickname “The Big Yin”.
